We were recently tasked by Mathews and Leigh Civil Engineers, who we have worked with for 20 years, to clean and survey all of the sewers on a new Bovis Homes development at Loachbrook Farm, Congleton. We used our new Jet Vac Tanker and CCTV Drainage Survey Unit.
After completing the project we received the below message from a resident on the estate:
The men working for drain alert on the bovis loachbrook farm estate in congleton were so accommodating of my autistic daughter. She has been watching videos about fat bergs so had lots of questions which your men answered. Kind and courteous. Obviously very knowledgable my autistic daughter was very impressed and wanted to come and work with them, shes only 5 so is a way of employment but she begged and begged.
Thanks again the meltdown was averted.
The site was completed a few years ago and therefore was fully occupied, hence the interest from the little girl. As part of a Section 104 Agreement, before United Utilities will adopt the sewers they need the evidence from our survey that they have been installed correctly with no defects.
